Duties & Risks of Being a Director

We have all read the statistics around business failure in New Zealand.  Business is risky – and being director of a company is risky business.  What are the main sources of risk inherent in acting as director?  What exactly can go wrong?  What are the possible personal consequences when things do go wrong?  How likely is it that the worst should happen to you personally as a director should the business fail?   How do you manage and minimise those risks?

These are all questions that every director should ask.  This event will explore these issues in a pragmatic way of use to directors or owner managed companies.
