Every business owner is aware of those handful of key performance indicators that determine whether their particular business sinks or swims.
Maybe for a sales oriented business KPIs might include things like “Lead to Closure Rate” – or for an online retailer, maybe “Shopping Cart Abandonment Rate” – or for a startup, perhaps “Days of Cash Remaining”. A brand-oriented business might care most about “Net Promoter Score” – and a manufacturer will be very focused on GP per job or product.
Each of our businesses have a handful of metrics that really matter – and most of us track them to a greater or lesser degree. But more often than not, quality information isn’t available until after the event – say the end of the month. Obviously the ability to track against KPIs in real time – daily, or by the hour or minute – will hugely increase the focus and ability to manage those key numbers.
This will be the focus of the BOF event on 12 April. We have a manufacturing business owner on the panel who has built, refined, scrapped and rebuilt his real time KPI dashboarding system several times over – and who knows what works, what doesn’t – and that simple is good. And we have a pro who builds KPI dashboarding systems for clients. This will be a valuable session full of practical takeouts for you and your business.
And as usual, there will be pizza, wine and beer to lubricate quality discussion. And as always, no sales – just good practical content.
Business Owners Forums are held monthly – alternating between Whangarei and North Harbour. If you’d like to attend this event, just leave your details below and hit the black “Send your Booking” button before this event fills up.
