As consumers or businesses with a phone in one hand, we have an almost zero search cost in shopping around. There is very little case for loyalty to a brand that we perceive to be problematic – or not sufficiently grateful for our business. So as business owners, what to do?
The often sited solution is around some form of customer engagement. The idea that when customers interact and share in the experience we create for them, that will foster some level of loyalty above and beyond the simple transaction.
There is of course no single customer engagement method that works for every business – although the guiding principle ought to be genuine empathy, clarity, and simplicity in dealings with your customers.
And as usual for a breakfast event, there will be a light breakfast and refreshments to lubricate quality discussion. And as always, no sales – just good practical content.
