SUMMARY:Duties & Risks of Being a Director
DESCRIPTION:We have all read the statistics around business failure in New
Zealand.  Business is risky - and being director of a company is risky bu
siness.  What are the main sources of risk inherent in acting as director
?  What exactly can go wrong?  What are the possible personal consequenc
es?  How likely is it that the worst should happen to you personally as a
director should the business fail?   How do you manage and minimise tho
se risks?\nThese are all questions that every director should ask.  This
event will explore these issues in a pragmatic way of use to directors of
owner managed companies.\n\n&nbsp\;\nThis Business Owners Forum event is
at the BNZ Partners facility on Constellation Drive\, North Harbour at 5
:30pm for a 5:40pm start – and will run through to 7:00pm.\n\nAs always
for Business Owners Forum events\, this session will be free of charge an
d completely free of sales pitches from the supporters or the panellists.
And there will be pizza\, beer and wine to lubricate quality discussion.\n
\nBusiness Owners Forums are held monthly – alternating between Whangare
i and North Harbour.\n\nIf you’d like to attend this event\, just scrol
l down and hit the orange “Book Now!” button before this event fills
 up.
