SUMMARY:Cash is King
DESCRIPTION:"Cash is King"\, so the wise old hands say.  But is that true?
Certainly for business owners cashflow is vital.   Profit is of cours
e essential for long term survival - but in the short term\, it doesn't ma
tter how much profit you are forecasting for next year if you don't have
enough cash to take you from here to there.  Employees will start screa
ming if wages are a day late - and if you're lucky\, suppliers\, IRD and
the landlord might cut you some slack for a month or two after that ...\n
Here's a couple of home truths we see all the time when we're working with
business owners to anticipate their cash needs:  \n\n \n\n \n\n \nBu
siness owners almost always overestimate future income and underestimate f
uture costs.  \n\n \nOften times\, business owners do not see a cash c
runch coming.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThese issues and how to manage them
will be discussed by Rebecca Brennan - at Elevate CA office level 4\, 35
Robert Street Whangarei  - 7:30am on Wednesday 2 August running through t
o 9:00am-ish.  And as usual for morning BOF events\, there will be coffee
and a light breakfast to lubricate quality discussion.  And as always\,
no sales - just good practical content.\n\nBusiness Owners Forums are held
monthly – alternating between Whangarei\, Albany and Newmarket venues.
Although no two Business Owners Forum events are the same\, this event wi
ll be more or less repeated in Albany on 17 August and in Newmarket on 2
0 September.\n\nIf you’d like to attend this event\, just leave your det
ails below and hit the orange "Book Now" button before this event fills u
 p.  And if you’d like to be included on the invite list for future even
ts\, just hit the "Home" tab at the top of this page - then scroll down to
  the Subscribe form.\n\n&nbsp\;
