SUMMARY:Cash is King
DESCRIPTION:For business owners cashflow is vital.   Profit is of course
essential for long term survival – but in the short term\, it doesn’t
matter how much profit you are forecasting for next year if you don’t h
ave enough cash to take you from here to there.  Employees will start s
creaming if wages are a day late – and if you’re lucky\, suppliers\,
IRD and the landlord might cut you some slack for a month or two after th
at …\nHere’s a couple of home truths we see all the time when we’re
working with business owners to anticipate their cash needs:  \n\n\n Bu
siness owners almost always overestimate future income and underestimate f
uture costs.  \n\n\n\n\n Often times\, business owners do not see a ca
sh crunch coming.\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOur panel will discuss these issues and
  how to manage them – at BNZ Partners\, 330 Broadway\, Newmarket  –
5:30pm for a 5:40pm start on Wednesday 20 September running through to 7:
00pm.  And as usual\, there will be beer\, wine and pizza to lubricate q
uality discussion.  And as always\, no sales – just good practical cont
ent.\n\nBusiness Owners Forums are held monthly – alternating between Wh
angarei\, Albany and Newmarket venues. Although no two Business Owners For
um events are the same\, this event will be more or less a repeat of the
August event on this topic on 17 August.\n\nIf you’d like to attend thi
s event\, just leave your details below and hit the orange “Book Now”
button before this event fills up.  And if you’d like to be included o
n the invite list for future events\, just hit the “Home” tab at the t
op of this page – then scroll down to the Subscribe form.
