SUMMARY:Cash is King
DESCRIPTION:They say “Cash is King” - but is that true?  Certainly fo
r business owners cashflow is vital.   Profit is of course essential for
long term survival – but in the short term\, it doesn’t matter how mu
ch profit you are forecasting for next year if you don’t have enough ca
sh to take you from here to there.  Employees will start screaming if
wages are a day late – and if you’re lucky\, suppliers\, IRD and the l
andlord might cut you some slack for a month or two after that …\nHere
’s a couple of home truths we see all the time when we’re working with
business owners to anticipate their cash needs:  \n\n\n Business owner
s almost always overestimate future income and underestimate future costs.
\n\n\n\n\n Often times\, business owners do not see a cash crunch co
ming.\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOur panel will discuss these issues and how to mana
 ge them – at BNZ Partners\, 61 Constellation Drive  – 5:30pm for a 5
:40pm start on Thursday 17 August running through to 7:00pm.  And as usua
l\, there will be beer\, wine and pizza to lubricate quality discussion.
And as always\, no sales – just good practical content.\n\nBusiness O
wners Forums are held monthly – alternating between Whangarei\, Albany a
nd Newmarket venues. Although no two Business Owners Forum events are the
same\, this event will be more or less repeated in Newmarket on 20 Sept
ember.\n\nIf you’d like to attend this event\, just leave your details b
elow and hit the orange “Book Now” button before this event fills up.
And if you’d like to be included on the invite list for future events
\, just hit the “Home” tab at the top of this page – then scroll dow
 n to the Subscribe form.
